A hint of chaos (multimedia)

He senses
the hint of chaos
that lingers
at her throat like the scent of a storm
in the form of the night
unexpectedly
He says it tastes
of the ocean
and her shadow,
dangerous complexities
like webs of light
He sees
she weaves with darkness
and pirouettes wildly,
a dancer undone after the show
or the blossom that grips in the snow
And he grasps her
like the stillness of dawn
in the form of good morning
on lipsโ€ฆ
And he knows her
like he knows his way home
or the moon knows the sun or the tides
And he loves her
that feel of
her heart on his sleeve
and all of the hints of her chaos
and night

  1. Rachel… you are an amazing creator… the poem itself is wild and delicate and powerful, but what you did with the multimedia experience… wow. It’s a super-collaborative work of art. Beautiful, bravo, huge kudos, lovely friend. And sooo lovely to not only read, but also hear, your wonderful voice again. Magnificence. ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’

      1. ๐Ÿ˜ You’ve adeptly discerned the inner yearnings of my heart, dear intuitive Rachel… but I might need a tutorial. (hint hint ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ™ ;)) For now, just watching yours again in awe… it’s truly magical. ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒธโœจ

      2. p.s. I was kidding about the tutorial (well I don’t know how you did what you did, but nor do I need to know), dear friend; please forgive my awkward comment… a simple thanks would have been better from my end. :)) Thanks for brightening the feed with all your lovely. xoxo

      3. I donโ€™t know how I missed your reply Nadine, Iโ€™m so sorry!! Iโ€™m happy to give a tutorial, although, I feel extremely under qualified, Iโ€™m surprised it actually worked ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. But, If my own limited knowledge doesnโ€™t put you off, letโ€™s do it!

Thank you once again for your beautiful comments, youโ€™re a wonderful presence and your encouragement means more than you could know. Xoxox

  3. My fabulous Rachel. This is magnificent. WOW. I am getting lost on the corridors of your feelings.

And I can hear your voice. I am stunned by the beauty of this poem and by your recitation. You are fabulous.

I am still thinking. It’s complex indeed. There is a story hidden in your splendid verses that I cannot fully grasp. The power of your genius.

    Welcome back Rachel.

    1. Aww my dear G, thank you for your gorgeously complimentary words. Itโ€™s like receiving the most amazing gift ๐Ÿ’. And if I keep the poetic genius herself thinking ๐Ÿค” hmmm not sure if thatโ€™s a good thing. May be a little too cryptic ๐Ÿ™ƒ.

Sending you hugs and rest for thst shoulder of yours. Iโ€™m keeping my fingers crossed no surgery. I hope you sleep well tonight sweet Gabriela. How about dreams of Hawaii? ๐Ÿ’ xoxoxo
